Our Verdict

The Altura Cycling Tool Roll is a practical and stylish way to keep essential tools on hand during rides. The durable 12oz cotton has been waxed to give it a water-resistant finish; it’s designed to handle light showers and road spray, but it is in no way “waterproof.” Weighing only 68g, this roll packs easily and adds minimal weight to your setup.

I appreciate the overall look of the design; it has an authentic vintage style. The hook-and-loop fastening makes it easy to access tools quickly, while reflective detailing provides added visibility in low light, a useful feature if you find yourself on the roadside at dusk.
