Our Verdict

Spacious, weatherproof and ideal for shared living, the Oppland 3 SI (2.0) is built for groups who want to travel light without sacrificing comfort.

At 3,395g (Medium), this isn’t aimed at fast-and-light trips, but for three people, it offers excellent space-to-weight balance. The updated interior is generous enough for a trio to sleep comfortably without feeling packed in, and the expanded porch is more than just storage—it’s a practical living area that suits longer stays, gear-heavy trips, or wet-weather cooking. The front door can be fully rolled back, which opens up the space beautifully for relaxed evenings or drying gear after a wet day.

The 2.0 version improves on the original with better pole tensioning, reinforced connections and an easier-to-manage door design. The tunnel layout pitches outer-first and is easy to handle, even solo. Weatherproofing is solid, with a 3,000 mm fly and 10,000 mm groundsheet that gives confidence in sustained rain or damp conditions.
