A simple way to protect yourself against mosquitoes. Spray on to fabrics like clothes and sleeping nets to give you another level of protection.

Our Verdict

Life Systems’ EX4 Anti Mosquito Spray for Fabrics is a simple spray that you cover fabrics in. It’s best use is on clothing and nets as I wouldn’t like to use this on a tent, just in case it had a lasting effect on the fabric in some way. Sprays like this are designed to last for a few washes but it is also difficult to effectively cover every set of clothes you are going to use so cover the things you will be out in on high risk times or places.

As with any mosquito product, it’s not a guarantee that you won’t be bitten but the EX4 seemed to work for me in that I didn’t notice as many mosquitoes around when I was wearing the clothes I’d treated. I would be willing to use it again but for serious risk areas I’d still rely on DEET products (unfortunately) for more protection.
