The Army Leather GORE-TEX* is a warm 3-finger glove for skiing in tough weather conditions. As a 3-finger model, it offers slightly more warmth while retaining a degree of fingertip sensitivity. Sewn in hardwearing goatskin and heavy-duty recycled polyamide fabric. The fit is pre-curved for comfort and grip. A fleece liner with G-Loft synthetic insulation keeps the cold out.
The model comes out a favourite in tests thanks to its sound design and carefully thought-out details. A high cuff with snowlock is perfect when skiing in powder, while a wrist strap reduces the risk of losing a glove, for example on a ski lift.

Our Verdict

The Hestra Army Leather Gore-Tex 3 Finger Gloves provide an ideal balance of warmth and dexterity for alpine skiing and winter hikes. The three-finger design offers more insulation than a glove while maintaining the dexterity of separated fingers, making it suitable for skiers and mountaineers needing warmth and usability. Constructed with durable goatskin leather on the palm and a tough recycled polyamide fabric on the backhand, these gloves are built to withstand demanding conditions.

The pre-curved fit ensures a natural grip, and the G-Loft insulation, combined with a fleece lining, keeps hands warm without compromising breathability. Features like the snow lock cuff and wrist strap add convenience, keeping snow out and preventing accidental loss. Many find the carabiner and eyelet helpful in securing the gloves when not in use.
