The Firewall Alpine 3L Jacket is a refined shell that balances mobility and protection, coming in at 334g (Medium), it feels well-tuned for fast, technical objectives. The updated Pertex Shield fabric keeps it light and compact without sacrificing waterproof performance, while still offering solid breathability. The regular fit works well over bulkier “puffy” layers, and the articulated cut moves naturally through scrambles or steep climbs.The hood is easy to adjust, featuring a stiffened peak that maintains its shape in the wind. Details like the clean cuff design and single-pull hem cinch keep the jacket fuss-free.
